Boy Scout Troop 6 News Many thanks to all that donated their bottles at our March bottle drive. Your continued support helps us send our scouts to summer camp and helps to defer the cost of camping trips. Your support to the troop is needed more than ever with the rising costs for all activities. Our next bottle drive is on May 14th from 9am to noon. If you would like us to pick up your bottles the day of the bottle drive please contact, Brian Laroche e-mail at sa@troop6quincy.org.
A troop photo from the February Ski Trip to Gunstock Ski Area. The troop is proud to celebrate its 75 Anniversary this year. This is an enormous achievement for the Troop, not only for current members but even more for those scouts and scout leaders who came before us – all the way back to 1930! To celebrate, Troop 6 is hosting a banquet on the May 7th at the Quincy Yacht Club. To join us in celebrating you can purchase tickets after church services on April 10th and 11th at the MBS and HNCC. You can also stop by the scout meetings on Monday evenings from 7pm to 8:30pm at the Congregational Church on Manet Avenue. Invitation to the event is open to everyone. Please come and show your support for scouting.
